OSLO, Norway (AP) — Former U.S. national team coach Bob Bradley has been named coach of Norwegian club Stabaek.
The club made the announcement Friday on its website.
The 55-year-old Bradley most recently led Egypt’s national team, but his contract wasn’t renewed after the country failed to qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
Stabaek, based in a suburb of Oslo, is returning to Norway’s top league this year after one season in the second division.
Due to the cold winter, the Norwegian season runs spring-fall, unlike most of Europe.
