Wildlife Commission to hear about Columbia sturgeon, salmon
TUMWATER — Public hearings on lower Columbia sturgeon and salmon management policies are scheduled Jan. 11 before the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission.
The panel will meet at the Comfort Inn Hotel and Conference Center, 1620 74th Ave. S.W.
A briefing by Cindy LeFleur, regional fish program manager, and Brad James, sturgeon biologist, on sturgeon is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. to be followed by public comment.
A briefing by Guy Norman, regional director, and Ron Roler, Columbia River policy coordinator, about salmon is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. to be followed by public comment.
