Vancouver’s charter review committee will take public testimony regarding potential changes to the city charter from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St.

The committee will meet in the Aspen Room.

The 15-member committee meets every five years to review the city charter and recommend any changes to the Vancouver City Council. The members are appointed by the mayor.

The charter, which sets the structure of the government, was approved by voters in 1952.

Suggested changes may also be mailed to Charter Review, City Manager’s Office, P.O. Box 1995, Vancouver, WA 98668 or emailed to COVCharterReview@cityofvancouver.us.
