Parkinson’s nonprofit seeking donations for annual auction

Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon is asking for donations and auction items for its annual gala and auction fundraiser.

The Celebrate Hope gala and auction begins at 7 p.m. May 9 at the Governor Hotel, 614 S.W. 11th Ave. Doors open at 5 p.m. and cocktails are available beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person.

The event includes cocktails, dinner, silent and live auctions, a wine wall and entertainment. The theme of this year’s event is Cirque du Hope.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon, which provides information, education, personal support and advocacy for people living with Parkinson’s in Oregon and southwest Washington.
