The Vancouver-based nonprofit Pink Lemonade Project is hosting its first fundraiser.
The nonprofit supports breast cancer survivors through a variety of programs, including professionally led restorative retreats and a one-one-one and group mentor program. The nonrprofit will also unveil at the event its newest program, Lemon Drops, which will provide women with complimentary childcare while they undergo breast cancer treatment.
The fundraiser, “Pink Glow, Party with a Purpose,” begins at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Leftbank Annex, 101 N. Weidler St. in Portland. Cocktail attire is encouraged.
Tickets are $75. All money raised at the event will go toward the programs.
