BASIC TRAINING
Air Force Airman Zachary L. Warnke has completed basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio. Warnke is the son of Curtis Warnke of Brush Prairie and Marci Wallway of Vancouver. He is a 2010 graduate of Hockinson High School.
AIR FORCE ACADEMY APPOINTMENT
Kristen Nye, daughter of Donald and Elizabeth Nye of Woodland, was recently appointed to the Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colo., where she will report on June 26 for basic training. Nye is a senior at La Center High School and also a member of the JROTC program at Prairie High School.
