Wind advisory in effect today for Clark County

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Clark County, predicting that gusts could reach 45 mph.

The advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, with the strongest winds and heavy rains expected to hit the area around noon, according to the advisory.

The weather service warns that this may cause tree damage and power outages.

Rain today and into tonight is expected to bring between a half and three quarters of an inch.
