Local charity Gifts For Our Community is inviting applications from local nonprofit organizations that work in education, human services and the arts.
Ten grants of $2,000 apiece will be awarded. Gifts For Our Community is a homegrown nonprofit that works with revenues from the network of upscale “Divine” secondhand shops, including downtown furniture store Divine Consign and Hazel Dell clothes boutique b.Divine.
Applications can be picked up at either of those stores, which are at 904 Main St. and 1218 N.E. 88th St., or visit http://divineconsignfurniture.org. The application deadline is March 31. Recipients will be announced April 15.
