Robert Franks’ 17 points wasn’t enough for Evergreen to get a 4A bi-district playoff win at Kentridge.
Kentridge had three players who scored in double figures, led by Danny Torlai’s 15 points. Evergreen was able to take a three-point lead into the halftime break but couldn’t hold on.
A 7-point third quarter was too much for Evergreen to make up. Kentridge continued to score well in the final period when Evergreen’s offense came back to life.
Evergreen will play South Kitsap on Saturday at 6:30 at Mount Tahoma high school in Tacoma.
