Connor Wonderly returned from injury to score 24 points and lead the Wildcats into the 1A district tournament.
Wonderly, who hurt his ankle Jan. 29, led a La Center attack that had its shooting touch despite not practicing for nearly a week due to snow.
Wyatt Aguirre added 17 points and Dalton Morgan had 12 for La Center.
The Wildcats advance to face Elma in Friday in the double-elimination tournament.
