Vancouver firefighters were called Sunday evening to a fully involved fire in an abandoned house.
The fire was reported at 7:15 p.m. in the 4700 block of East 18th Street in Vancouver, according to emergency radio traffic monitored by The Columbian.
Crews arrived to find the house in flames. Firefighters approached the blaze defensively, meaning that they attacked the fire from the outside of the building and worked to make sure flames didn’t spread to anything nearby.
