• Tricia Roscoe has been named interim senior vice president for strategy, innovation and development with Vancouver-based PeaceHealth, which operates medical centers in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. Roscoe will be responsible for strategic and operational planning, marketing and communications, population health management and payer relations for the not-for-profit system. Roscoe spent 16 years with Providence Health & Services, most recently serving as the chief executive for market and business development in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

o Attorneys Richard Matson and Erin Lambley have joined Landerholm, P.S. in Vancouver. Matson will represent businesses, professionals and other people in litigation. Lambley will focus on general business law, and represent corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and nonprofit organizations.

• Carmen LeBlanc has been hired as supervisor of animal health and behavior for the Humane Society for Southwest Washington. LeBlanc will evaluate newly admitted animals, assess the mental and physical well-being of shelter animals, and help match the animals with adopters.n The Vancouver USA Regional Tourism Office has selected its board of directors and officers for 2014. They are Chairwoman Kari Jonassen, general manager of Homewood Suites by Hilton; Vice Chairman Paul Thornton, general manager of Red Lion Hotel Vancouver at the Quay; and Secretary-Treasurer Carla Rise, general manager of Residence Inn by Marriott. New directors are Vancouver Farmers Market Executive Director Jordan Boldt and John Morrison, executive director and CEO of the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds and manager of the Clark County Fair.

New Vancouver office

• Murray, Smith & Associates Inc., a consulting civil engineering firm with offices in Oregon, Washington and Idaho, has opened an office in Vancouver. The four-employee office will be lead by Brent Gruber, who has 19 years of industry experience in the Vancouver-Portland area. The company’s temporary office is at 215 W. 12th St., Suite 201, and it will move to a permanent office in May. Portland-based Murray, Smith & Associates specializes in municipal engineering including water, wastewater, stormwater and transportation planning, and design and construction management services.
