• Brian Andrewjeski has been hired as a member of the software and media sales department at Convergence Training, which provides training materials and technology solutions for industrial and manufacturing firms. Andrewjeski previously worked as an account manager for Coca-Cola Refreshments. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Washington State University.

o Julie Rawls has been hired by the Port of Vancouver as community relations specialist. Her primary duties include representing the port at public meetings, delivering presentations, conducting tours, managing the port’s speakers’ bureau and helping organize events. Rawls previously served more than 20 years in the Portland Development Commission’s public affairs and public outreach departments.

o The Humane Society for Southwest Washington recently hired Brittany Gosselin as development director and added Jason Hudson to it board of directors. Gosselin has more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising. She will support the strategic goals of the Society through fundraising efforts and donor cultivation programs. Hudson serves as division vice president for the Southwest Washington division of Waste Connections, Inc.

• Carol Van Natta of Camas and James Phelps of Vancouver have been elected to the Association of Fundraising Professionals international volunteer leadership positions. Van Natta was elected to the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy board of directors. She is executive director and chief development officer of PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Foundation. Phelps was re-elected to the international AFP board of directors. He is a principal with JKP Fundraising, LLC.

New business
