Clark County — Petty Fever just won’t back down.

Led by Frank Murray of Vancouver, the band won Tribute Band of the Year at the LA Music Awards for the second year in a row this past November.

Murray himself was also nominated for Live Performer of the Year, but he didn’t win.

You can catch Petty Fever during a celebration gig at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 3 at the Star Theater, 13 N.W. Sixth Avenue in Portland. Tickets are $15 for general admission. Also on the bill are Loverboy tribute Working for the Weekend and Deep Purple tribute Highway Star.
