Devin Johnson scored 17 points and Kellen Butler added 14 as Battle Ground lost in the third-place game of the Cactus Division of the Phoenix Cactus Jam in Chandler, Ariz.

The Tigers trailed by 15 points in the third quarter, but rallied to cut that margin to two with 1:30 left. But Conestoga sealed the game from the free throw line.

“We played some physical, athletic teams,” coach Wes Armstrong said. “It was a good test for us. Even though we lost two of three down here, I feel like we got better.”

Johnson earned all-tournament honors.
