Shelby Vermuelen had 18 points, eight rebounds and four steals, and Katie Whitten had 17 points, eight assists and seven steals as the Wildcats romped over Jefferson of Portland in the Hoops on the Holiday tournament at Evergreen High School.
Bethany Whitten had six rebounds and four assists to go with two points.
“It was a good team effort,” coach Herm Van Weerdhuizen said. “We just took care of business.”
La Center (8-1) plays Benson Tech of Portland at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
