Prairie 53, Chiawana 46 — Greg Bernash scored a season-high 23 points, 13 coming in the second half, as the Falcons shut down Chiawana to win at the SunDome Shootout in Yakima.

The Falcons recovered from a 61-58 triple-overtime loss on Friday to Squalicum with a second-half rally to beat Chiawana.

Chiawana opened the game with six consecutive 3-pointers and had a 28-19 lead at halftime.

Prairie’s defense then held Chiawana to 18 points in the second half — including a seven-point fourth quarter — and just two 3-pointers.
