Jordan Henderson’s layup at the buzzer lifted Evergreen to a 64-63 win over host Prairie at the Falcon Holiday Classic.

In a game that was close the entire way, Prairie took a 63-62 lead when Michael Stockbridge hit two free throws.

On Evergreen’s last possession, Prairie was wary of Robert Franks. The Washington State signee had a game-high 29 points.

Instead, Greg Washington drove toward the basket and passed to Henderson.

“He made a great pass,” Prairie coach Kyle Brooks said. “We doubled on Franks. They looked to him first.”

Stockbridge led Prairie with 22 points.

“It was a great game by both teams,” Brooks said.

Evergreen improved to 3-3 overall. Prairie fell to 4-4.
