Boys basketball: Battle Ground 64, Clover Park 47

Devin Johnson scored 24 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and had at least seven blocked shots as the Tigers won in the Mark Morris Tournament.

Andrej Besara added 16 points and six assits for Battle Ground (3-2). The Tigers will play Mark Morris at 4 p.m. on Saturday at Kelso High School.

Battle Ground led by nine points at halftime, but fell behind by two in the third quarter when Clover Park made five consecutive 3-pointers. But the Tigers defense set the tone from there, limiting Clover Park to only seven points in the fourth quarter.
