A truck reportedly stolen in Oregon slammed into a downtown business early this morning.

Vancouver police responded to an alarm at Walgreens, 2521 Main St., just after 4 a.m. and police arrived to find a truck through the doors of the business, Sgt. Spencer Harris said.

The business was not open at the time and there were no reported injuries, he said.

Three suspects in the vehicle reportedly tried to access an ATM inside the business but were not successful and then fled, Harris said.

Officers searched the area with help from a police canine, but did not locate the suspects.

The truck recovered at the scene was reportedly stolen out of Gresham, Ore.

Police described two of the suspects as black males in their 20’s, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. The other suspect was described as a white male in his 30s or 40s, heavy build and about 6 feet tall.

Detectives from the Vancouver Police Major Crimes Unit are continuing the investigation into the crime.
