A Level III sex offender recently registered as a transient in Vancouver.

Michael Edward Lamb, 72, was convicted of indecent liberties in 1991 after assaulting a 4-year-old girl, whom he knew on several occasions. Lamb was also convicted in February 2000 for first-degree child molestation for sexually assaulting an 8-year-old boy. In both cases, Lamb blamed the victims for initiating contact, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Lamb is among the group of sex offenders considered most likely to reoffend.

He is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 240 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.

The Vancouver Police Sex Offender Monitoring Unit and the Clark County Sex Offender Registration Unit will be monitoring Lamb.
