Gifford Pinchot National Forest snow report

The Forest Service reported on Monday there were 4 inches of snow at Atkisson and Flattop sno-parks in the Mount Adams Ranger District of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

The agency reported 3 inches at Old Man Pass Sno-park at the headwaters of the Wind River.

Only a light skiff of snow was on the ground in Trout Lake on Wednesday afternoon.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service reports no snow at June Lake, elevation, 3,440 feet on the south side of Mount St. Helens. At Potato Hill, on the north side of Mount Adams at elevation 4,510 feet, the automated site reports 6 inches of snow.
