The nights are bright with festive cheer now that Clark County residents have flipped on their holiday lights.
From elaborate displays featuring Christmas characters to bulbs that seem to dance along with music, local homes are as dazzling as ever this season.
The following residents invite you to drive or walk by their homes to spread the holiday cheer.

East Vancouver
15006 N.E. 38th St. Penguins play in this display at the Lownsbery home. The family said their decorations, which include more and more illuminated penguins each year, are a big hit with little kids. Includes colorful lights, a large welcoming Santa and more.
15309 N.E. Seventh St. More than 70 illuminated figures and 12,000 lights decorate the property while Christmas music plays. The yard features a full nativity scene and toy soldiers, and a 45-foot-tall candy cane sits on the roof. The lights are on from 5 to 10 p.m. daily.
2020 S.E. 132nd Court. Blue lights line the roof of this display, which also features bright snowflakes, a snowman and reindeer by the front door. The lights are on from 4 to 11 p.m.
14009 N.E. Ninth St. The “Holiday Stars” display features walls of bright stars on six homes down the block that change colors to the beat of varying styles of holiday music that is broadcast on 99.1 FM. New songs will be added leading up to Christmas. Lights are on from 5 to 10 p.m. until Jan. 1.
7207 N.E. 92nd Ave. The home features three different holiday scenes, including the nativity, a Christmas tree with gifts and deer in a meadow. More than 15,000 lights illuminate the home, and the roof is adorned with candy canes and snowflakes. The lights are on from 5:30 to 11 p.m.
11806 S.E. Riveridge Drive. The home and its neighbor have yards full of lights and decorations, including bright trees, candy canes, Rudolph and friends, and more. The lights are on from 5 to 10:30 p.m. until Christmas.
Central Vancouver
3010 N.E. Stapleton Road. Nearly 50,000 red, green and white lights illuminate the property, which also features a herd of lighted deer and large inflatable characters including Santa riding a motorcycle on the roof. The display runs from 5 to 10 p.m. nightly.
607 Palo Alto Drive. A 9-foot-tall moose and 12-foot candle sit on the property next to a nativity scene and a homemade Santa figure with reindeer. Snowflakes line the roof, and a dozen Christmas trees shine in the display. The lights are on daily from 5 to 9:30 p.m. until Jan. 1.
8310 N.E. Pierce Drive. “The Nortz Pole,” named after the homeowners, includes many lights as well as Rudolph, the “Misfit Toys,” Santa, snowmen, two nativity scenes and other figures. A side yard includes a number of illuminated penguins. The lights are on daily from 5 to 10 p.m.
10212 N.E. 17th Circle. The light display features a 25-foot-tall Santa and Frosty the Snowman. Lights are on from 5 to 10 p.m. nightly and all day on Dec. 24-25.
West Vancouver
Northwest Columbia Street between 41st and 43rd. The homes along the street are decorated in different ways, including with flamingos, arches, reindeer, various Santas and bright stars.
4616 N.W. Franklin St. More than 20,000 lights, including 4,000 on one tree, decorate the home and property, which also features a 12-piece nativity scene, a life-size Santa and reindeer and a 25-foot-tall Christmas tree. Lights and music will run from 5 to 10 p.m. nightly and until 11 p.m. during Christmas week.
Around Clark County
12710 N.W. 50th Ave., Felida area. A computerized and colorful light display is synchronized to music that is broadcast on 95.1 FM. Features white arches and lit-up trees in the yard and on the roof. The show runs from 5 to 10 p.m. nightly until Dec. 26.
20306 N.E. 68th St., Proebstel area. More than 30,000 lights, including 10,000 on the roof, decorate the home. Six trees in the yard blink to Christmas carols in addition to numerous blow-up and animated figures on the side of the house. The lights are on from 4:45 to 9:45 p.m. every day until Jan. 1.
18801 N.E. 23rd St., Fisher-Mill Plain area. The display includes more than 50,000 lights of various sizes and shapes. The property also features six homemade light trees, four arches and a star on the roof. The lights are on from 5:30 to 10 p.m.
16304 N.E. 63rd St., Heritage area. “Magical Lights on 63rd St.” features two 20-foot tall trees made of lights, mini-trees lining the yard and more than 50,000 bulbs that are synchronized to holiday music. Santa will visit at varying times. The show begins at 5 p.m. daily and runs until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Donations accepted for Make a Wish of Oregon. 303 S.W. 10th St., Battle Ground. This Battle Ground home has a winter wonderland sledding theme. The lights are turned on at 5 p.m.
625 E. Dogwood Ave., La Center. A bright star atop a tall tree stands in the yard in this display that includes flying reindeer on the roof and famous holiday characters including Frosty the Snowman and The Grinch. Santa will visit on weekends to make wreathes and greet children.
998 E. 15th Circle, La Center. Thousands of lights and numerous blow-up figures, including Santa, Mickey Mouse and snowmen, decorate the cul-de-sac. The display also features an illuminated nativity scene. The display is on nightly from 5 to 9 p.m.
4430 N.W. Crystal Court, Camas. The light display, including a “mega” tree, exploding stars and arches, synchronizes to 21 songs broadcast on 87.9 FM. The display turns on at 5 p.m. every night and ends at 10 p.m. on weeknights and 10:30 p.m. on weekends.
3148 N.W. Quartz Place, Camas. A large light show, including bright trees made from bulbs in the yard and colorful lights lining the house, is choreographed to ten Christmas songs that are broadcast on 98.1 FM. The show runs daily from 4 to 10 p.m.
4015 Addy Circle, Washougal. Around 15,000 colorful lights dance to music that can be heard from the street and bright arches line the path to the house. The lights are on at 5 p.m. daily and turn off at 9 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and at 10 p.m. Friday to Sunday.
503 51st St., Washougal. Twenty homes along 51st Street are decorated for the holidays with lights and figures and other festive displays. Lights are on daily from 5 to 10 p.m.
