Boys basketball: Washougal 53, Hudson’ Bay 26

The Panthers held the visiting Eagles to four points in the first half to begin play in the Class 2A Greater St. Helens League with a comfortable win.

Noah Prangley scored seven of his game-high 15 points in the first quarter as Washougal (7-0) hustled to a quick 18-2 lead. Ryan Taylor scored seven of his 11 points in the second quarter.

Taylor finished with 10 rebounds. Noah Prangley had eight rebounds. Yorro Bah had five assists and two steals and Dan Davis had four assists.

Hudson’s Bay fell to 0-5, 0-2 n league games.
