Boys basketball: R.A. Long 58, Heritage 54 (OT)

After tying the game in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, the Lumberjacks scored the last five points of overtime to sink the visiting Timberwolves.

Heritage (2-5) led by as many as 14 points late in the third quarter, but Hunter Jones scored eight of his 17 points in the fourth quarter to help rally R.A. Long (2-3).

Mark Bejan led the Timberwolves with 18 points, and hit a free throw to put them up 54-53 in overtime. But Ian Mendiola hit a 3-pointer to give the Jacks the lead for good.

Kenese Peneueta scored 16 points for Heritage.
