If your child has special sensory needs, the nonprofit Amazing Moms of East Vancouver has an opportunity for you.

On Saturday afternoon, a “Sensitive Santa” will be visiting — privately and quietly — with children who have sensory disorders or other special needs that prevent them from visiting Santa at the mall.

“This is a quiet, sensory-friendly environment with a very Sensitive Santa,” organizer Roberta Bernhardt said.

A light snack and small gift will be given to each child. A photographer will be able to email photographs afterwards.

It’s set for Saturday at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 5607 Gher Road. Children from birth to 11 visit with Santa from 2 to 3 p.m. Those twelve years and older visit with Santa from 3 to 4 p.m. For more information, call Brenda Tyrrell, 360-953-1597.
