Girls basketball: Woodland 60, Ridgefield 22

Kendall Grell scored 17 points, and McKenna Mulder had 11 as the Beavers won their 2A Greater St. Helens League opener with a dominating performance.

Woodland (3-1, 1-0) led 11-2 after the first quarter and held Ridgefield to single-digit scoring throughout.

Jessica Flanagan had nine points, six rebounds, six assists and six steals for Woodland, and Amber Malik had five points, six steals and five rebounds.
