Boys basketball: Washougal 41, Fort Vancouver 37

The Panthers held on to win a battle of unbeatens.

Washougal (6-0) led by as many as eight points early in the fourth quarter. Fort (5-1) pulled even at 35, but scored two points over the final four minutes.

Ryan Taylor led Washougal with 12 points and added 7 rebounds.

Jordan Suell had 11 points and 9 rebounds for Fort Vancouver.

Both teams struggled from the field. Washougal shot 32 percent and Fort shot 28 percent.
