Girls basketball: Mountain View 62, Kent-Meridian 42

Hailey Hartney scored 28 points as the Thunder a fast-tempo attack to race to a road victory.

Mountain View blew the game open with a 27-7 advantage in the third quarter.

“We really dropped the defensive hammer in the third quarter,” Thunder coach Mat Clark said. “It was a really good team effort in that regard.”

Emilly Moore and Eva Winsheimer added 10 points each.
