Two sophomores and a freshmen led the Cougars’ charge from a slow start to pick up a non-league win at home.
Sophomore Garrett Wellman had 18 points and six steals and freshman Brock Schoene added 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Sophomore Tyler Davis added 14 points for the Cougars, who used the speed and pressure defense to overcome the taller Beavers.
