Girls basketball: Washougal 60, White Salmon 39

Alyssa Blankenship scored 22 points to lead the Panthers to a road win.

Rayann Allen added 14 points and Jolynn Wenick had a team-high eight rebounds as Washougal improved to 3-0.

The Panthers led 19-12 after one quarter and gradually increased the lead thanks to a tenacious defense. The only blemish, according to coach Brian Oberg, was going 12-for-30 from the free throw line.
