Girls basketball: Columbia River 55, Hockinson 52 (2 OT)

Columbia River 55, Hockinson 52 (2 OT) — Megan Bloom scored nine of her game-high 25 points during the overtime periods to lift the visiting Chieftains to victory.

Bloom hit consecutive 3-pointers late in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 36-36. She mad 6 of 8 foul shots during the two overtimes.

Both teams scored seven points in the first overtime, but the Chieftains opened up a seven-point lead in the second overtime and made enough free throws to hold on.

Keeley Nordberg made five 3-pointers for Hockinson and finished with 17 points. Elle Tilkin grabbed 17 rebounds.
