Hearthwood — Hearthwood Elementary School wrapped up a canned food drive recently that collected hundreds of pounds of food for the Salvation Army’s Stop Hunger Warehouse in Vancouver.

During the campaign, students and staff were able to round up 499 pounds of food, enough to provide more than 400 meals for families in need, according to a November Evergreen Public Schools’ newsletter.
