Battle Ground — The Battle Ground Education Foundation benefited last week from two $800 donations.
Mill Creek Pub owner Russell Brent gathered nearly $800 in coins from his restaurant’s waterwheel for his annual “pulling of the coins” event, where the collected money is given to a local charity, according to a press release.
Waste Connections matched that donation with its own $800 gift to the foundation.
