UPDATE: Tonight’s paving work and ramp closure have been canceled due to freezing temperatures and rain in the forecast, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. It has not been rescheduled.

Original story:

Paving work Tuesday night will close the southbound off-ramp connecting Interstate 205 and Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The ramp will be closed from 11:59 p.m. Tuesday to 4 a.m. Wednesday. During the closure, crews will repave a portion of the shoulder, which will allow traffic to keep moving during the construction tied to the new interchange at Northeast 18th Street, according to WSDOT.

The work could be rescheduled if it rains.
