Girls basketball: La Center 63, Fort Vancouver 32

Taylor Mills had 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead the host Wildcats to the win.

Katie Whitten — who was recognized for reaching 1,000 career points during last season’s district playoffs — added seven points and eight assists. Shelby Vermuelen made five steals for La Center.
