The 10th annual Sole Support for Parkinson’s walk is set for Saturday.

The walk, hosted by Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon, raises money for Parkinson’s disease programs and support services in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

In celebration of the 10th year of the event, organizers eliminated all entry fees and merged the traditionally separate Portland and Vancouver walks into one event.

The walk begins at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Rose Quarter, 1 N. Center St., Portland. Check-in opens at noon.

The event offers a 1K and 5K. The routes are wheelchair, walker and stroller friendly. The event will also include Sunburst Classic Rock, a kid zone, food carts and a community partner fair.

Register for the event by visiting www.solesupport.org or calling 800-426-6806. Information on fundraising incentives are also available on the website.
