The Clark County Historical Museum will open its latest exhibit — “Food for Thought: Clark County’s Food History” — at this month’s First Thursday presentation.
It will offer a look at Clark County’s shifting landscape of food as researched by students from Washington State University Vancouver and illustrated using artifacts, documents and images from the museum’s collection.
Thursday’s opening reception from 5 to 9 p.m. will be held in conjunction with the First Thursday Museum After Hours event. At 7 p.m., guest curator and WSU Vancouver professor Candice Goucher will discuss local food history. Refreshments will be provided by the Grant House.
Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors, $2 for children under 18 and free with membership. The exhibit runs until April 30, 2015.
