Harold D. Elliott has joined the Vancouver accounting firm Vierck & Rakoski, cpas, p.c. Elliott will handle tax preparation, accounting and consulting for individual and corporate clients. Elliott received his accounting degree from Lewis and Clark College in Portland. He previously served as tax director at PricewaterhouseCoopers and as tax director for a natural resources company.

Ann Walker of Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has been hired as the new athletic director at Clark College. Walker was the associate athletic director for compliance and internal operations at Nova Southeastern. She has served for 23 years in athletics in roles ranging from administration to coaching. She begins her new job Sept. 2.

• Battle Ground City Manager John Williams has received the Award for Skill in Intergovernmental Cooperation from the Washington City Manager’s Association. The award honors his success in representing the city’s agenda and policies at the local, state and federal levels.
