A kid’s bike was stolen during a strong-arm robbery Wednesday night in east Vancouver near Burton Elementary School.
The robbery, reported at 8:50 p.m. in the 14500 block of Northeast 28th Street, resulted in two suspects being taken into custody.
Vancouver police Officer Ilia Botvinnik wasn’t sure about the suspects’ ages, but described them as two young men. Police were still figuring out the details of what happened late Wednesday night. Several people, for unknown reasons, ran from police while they were canvassing the area, Botvinnik said.
