Chamber of Commerce announces awards finalists

Vancouver — The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2014 “Business and Leadership Award” finalists in five award categories. All finalists will be featured at the Chamber’s Annual “Officer Installation and Awards Event” on Sept. 9 at the Hilton, where award recipients in each category will be disclosed. Finalists are:

Community Builder (Large Business): New Seasons Market, CenturyLink, The Columbian, Hilton Vancouver and Columbia Credit Union.

Community Builder (Small Business): Mill Creek Pub, A.L. Insurance, Grant House, BR Capital and Beacock Music.

2014 Start up to Watch (first five years in business): Fringe Digital Marketing Agency, Luxe by Cream and Sugar, South Pacific Café, Victor Fitness and Business Outcomes Consulting.

Statesman of the Year: Nan Henriksen, Annette Cleveland, Ed Barnes and Ann Rivers.

Community Champion: Tom Hagley, Diane McWithy, Rick Takech, John Krejcha, Heidi O’Connor.
