Vancouver Public Schools have announced the following administrative changes for the 2014-2015 school year. The first day of school is Wednesday, Sept. 3.
Elementary schools
Felida Elementary and King Elementary: Katie Ronning, former teacher and administrative intern, is associate principal.
Lake Shore Elementary School: Scott Leary, former principal, retired. He is succeeded by Starlet Heitz. She formerly was associate principal at Roosevelt Elementary School.
Marshall Elementary School: Former principal Karen Leary retired. The new principal is Bobbi Geenty, former Walnut Grove Elementary School principal.
Minnehaha Elementary School: Former principal Kris Porterfield retired. The new principal is Troy Winzer, former associate principal at Felida and King elementary schools.
Roosevelt Elementary: Jessica Graham, former special services manager, is now an associate principal.
Salmon Creek Elementary: Heath Angelbeck is principal. He was formerly associate principal at Discovery Middle School.
Walnut Grove Elementary School: Esteban Delgadillo is principal. He formerly was associate principal at Columbia River High School.
Middle schools
Alki Middle School: Darci Fronk, principal, formerly was principal at Salmon Creek Elementary.
Discovery Middle School: Jennifer Holm, now associate principal, was formerly a teacher and administrative intern at Vancouver iTech Preparatory.
McLoughlin Middle School: Travis Boeh is principal. He formerly was associate principal at Fort Vancouver High School.
High schools
Columbia River High School: Rob Duncan, now an associate principal, was formerly principal at Lewis and Clark High School.
Fort Vancouver High School: Ken Roberts is an associate principal. He formerly was a teacher mentor and administrative intern at Fort.
Hudson’s Bay High School: Darby Meade is an associate principal. He formerly was dean of students at Vancouver iTech Preparatory. Brian Hanson, former associate principal at Hudson’s Bay, is now a teacher mentor.
Lewis and Clark High School: Jody ViDelco, principal, formerly was principal at McLoughlin Middle School.
School board
Mark Stoker is president and Edri Geiger is vice president of the board of directors. The board also includes Kathy Gillespie, Mari Greves and Dale Rice.
