Clark County — Matthew Wentz of Vancouver was one of 480 who graduated late last month from the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps. Wentz and other young adults in program began their service in October and ended on July 24. The hundreds of recent graduates completed more than 800,000 hours of community service across 250 projects. The organization began in 1994 and enrolls people between 18 and 24 years old.
