Italian exchange student will attend Prairie High School

Brush Prairie — An Italian teenager arrived in Clark County last week to spend a year attending Prairie High School and learning about the community and the country. Sara Cernuschi flew into the area on Aug. 6 and was greeted by the Willson family, who will be hosting the exchange student. Cernuschi’s stay is sponsored by the nonprofit Aspect Foundation. In her application letter, Cernuschi said she loves science and is pondering a future in sports medicine. “For the moment I know only Italian customs and traditions, but there is so much more to discover,” she said.
