B.G. woman chosen regional president of federation

Battle Ground — Bonnie Walden, a member of the Battle Ground General Federation of Women’s Clubs, was recently chosen to be president of the organization’s Western States Region. Walden was given the honor during a meeting in Chandler, Ariz. She’ll now lead meetings of the 11-state region, the next taking place in September in Seattle. Walden has been involved with the GFWC for 50 years.
