A Washougal woman was arrested Wednesday after a two-hour standoff at a western Skamania County residence.

Deputies with the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office were called to a residence on Pine Drop Drive in Washougal early Wednesday morning.

Susan Miller, 27, allegedly pointed a shotgun at her fiance, Ace Hackney, and threatened to shoot and kill him, according to the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office.

Hackney left the residence and called 911 while Miller barricaded herself in her bedroom with weapons, according to authorities.

Deputies gained access to the residence and were able to breach the locked bedroom door after a two-hour standoff. They arrested Miller without further incident.

She was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, domestic violence malicious mischief, aiming or discharging a firearm, obstructing a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
