Washougal — Kids and their parents learned about the creatures of the sea Thursday during Oregon Coast Aquarium staff members’ visit to Hathaway Elementary School. Participants were entertained and educated by larger-than-life inflatable seals and sea lions during the visit, part of the school’s free summer events series in the gym. They also got to inspect bones and pelts of sea animals, and learned about how sea animals live.
