Two men riding on a motorcycle were seriously injured in a crash Monday night in the Sunnyside neighborhood.

Ansel Cecil, 21, of Battle Ground was driving a 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle with Devin Warner, 19, of Vancouver, as a passenger about 9:20 p.m., according to Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Duncan Hoss.

The motorcycle crashed as it was traveling south on Northeast 112th Avenue, and both men suffered serious injuries, Hoss said. They were both listed in satisfactory condition at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center on Tuesday.

Hoss said that speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash. There have been no arrests or citations, he said, but the crash remains under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
