Vancouver police arrested a 35-year-old man who allegedly rammed a police vehicle and drove up onto its hood this morning.

Officers attempted to pull Jeremy C. Macy over on domestic violence allegations that were made Thursday night.

During the traffic stop, he put his truck in reverse and struck a Vancouver corporal’s marked vehicle, driving up onto the hood with the corporal still inside, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

There was a pursuit that led to Macy’s home in the 2700 block of Northeast 151st Avenue in east Vancouver, where he was arrested.

Macy and the corporal, whose name was not released, were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Nobody else was injured.

Macy was booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of first-degree assault, attempting to elude, domestic violence felony harassment and domestic violence fourth-degree assault.
