o Daybreak Youth Services seeks help with a dinner and benefit event, Jazzin’ It Up, on May 3. Help is needed with sales, registration, set-up and tear-down.
o Evergreen and Vancouver schools need volunteers in elementary schools, as pen pals, lunch buddies, tutors, mentors and classroom aides.
o Innovative Services NW is looking for an intern to assist with programs, activities and administration. Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program.
o The Kids Cooking Corner is looking for board members, preferably with fundraising experience. Background checks will be done. Volunteers are also needed for holiday and birthday parties, teaching, cooking and gardening.
Oregon Food Bank is looking for help with the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. May 10 in Clark County and Portland. Volunteers may adopt a route and follow letter carrier routes, picking up food and delivering to the local post office. T-shirts will be provided to identify volunteers. Help is also needed at the post offices, unloading donations as they arrive.
